Negative PayPal Balance...Help

Okay, so I sold a camera for a friend on eBay. So the guy gets is, and apparently it is malfunctioning... So we agree to just reverse the transaction. Well, I had planned on getting my friend to give me cash later in the week and then I will deposit it into my account and send this guy is refund.

Well he decided to open up a PayPal dispute, instead of taking my work for it. So PayPal puts my account at -$160.

So I sold my Premiers on here also, and turns out one of them has a bad coil... I promised to send DBman150 $100 tomorrow to straighten this out (I was truly unaware of the problem.)

My question is, will PayPal allow me to send $100 to him from my bank account if I have a negative balance? Or will they require me to fix the balance before sending money?

Yes.

I would have assumed if he requested the refund they would have taken it out of my bank account, but I am really glad that they did not because it is my mom's account and she would have killed me. I have already sent him a PM asking him if that would be alright, but he was counting on that cash tomorrow.

Even if you did send it tomm. It usually takes a while for them to deposit it in your account anyways:eyebrow:

You shouldn't have a negative amount of money. It would just take it from your bank, or if you didn't have enough funds in the bank, it wouldn't let you send the money.
