Message: <blockquote data-quote="sounds_explicit" data-source="post: 8366538" data-attributes="member: 665284">okay well i bought some new subs bout 2 weeks ago.  hooked up my amp and it pounded hard, but now it seems as if my bass it cut in half. i checked settings and checked the subs both work. not making any weird sounds. i have my volt meter installed and it shows sometimes at 13.4 volts and when i turn the bass knob up to increase my subs volume the volts drop but the bass does not get louder. if i unplugg the connector to the bass knob the subs get louder and have more bass.   amp does not get hot and its not going into protect modeis there a possibility that after the subs suspension loosens up a bit that it takes a little more power to get it going? like if the subs suspension was brand new it banged harder till you loosened it up?or am i just needing more power supply to the amp?</blockquote>
