So i installed a system for a buddy of mine. Its a bazooka amp that i bought from someone on here. We set everything up except the ground was not proper. So i left it like that just to make sure everything works. It played no more than one minute. It was getting late so i told my friend we will finish it the next day i disconnected the power from the battery and left it like that. Here is the problem He decides to have his dad do the ground because his dad does car audio. Well my friend calls me and said the amp went into protect after a couple of hours. He brings it by and its a crappy ground. still paint and all and a little screw :\. So being it 1:00am. I pulled fuses, checked RCA's,power wire. all seems fine except the amp is still in protect with the car off. So right now i'm kind of lost. I am going to redo the ground and double check the remote wire. You think the amp is toast?
