whats up? I am working on a build for my wife’s 2005 Pontiac g6. Not going to do anything to crazy I am just going to put in some stuff that I recently took in on trades. I'm not looking to kill her with bass, just want to get some good deep bass with some good sq, so anyway here is what I am putting in. Keeping stock deck because computer is running through it, dont want to buy an interface. have a jl clean sweep and summing device to take care of the signal conversion. front stage speakers will be infinity kappa 6.5 components front stage amp jl 300/4 rear fill will be another set of infinity kappa 6.5 components sub stage will be a single dd 9515 that I am going to be getting soon sub amp will be a us amps usa-2000 I do not plan on running the amp at full capacity because I want to keep it a little more mild for my wife. will use deadener for entire trunk will also be using kicker hyperflex 1/0 gauge to take care of power. Now here is where I need the help... I planned on adding another battery but I am kind of tight on cash at the moment due to having a new baby girl so I want to keep this as cheap as I can. I can afford to get the other battery but what I am worried about is will my stock charging system be able to handle a second battery? I cannot afford another alternator at the moment. I was thinking about running an isolator to only charge one battery at a time, let me know what you guys think.
