I was talking to a car audio place and they said that when i had everything installed the guys who put it in used the wrong ohm rating for my 2 subs and that its cutting down on the power. He also said the amp is a little underpowered for those subs. Is this true? 2. I was thinking about getting a new JL 500-1 amp to hook up now, then upgrade my subs to either a 12w6 or 10w7 in the future. My questions- 1. If i get the JL 500-1 will i be able to run my 2 10w3s off this, then switch to either the 12w6 or 10 w7 later? 2. Are there different versions of this amp? If so which one will i need? 3. What ohm rating would i need for the 12w6? 4. What ohm rating would i need for the 10w7? 5. I dont know much about all this yet, anything i should know before buying all this? Thanks for the help!
