I Have 2 of these speakers hooked up to a SoundStream TR 880/2 all chrom plated amp loud and clear so loud i can be heard from 350yrds and that's crazy ...These things absolutely pound. I'll be honest and say that at lower volumes the PG's are actually warmer and richer on the low end but when I Turn the knob on my Alpine 9855 cd-mp3 just! a! little! and man!! the T-5's come into their own. The bass is tight, clean, and powerful. These subs take bass at volumes that would distort most 10's and asks for more. It's like they have a mind of their own and all they want to do is crank out the bass, soon I will get to more + 880/2. I listen to a wide range of music and these subs hit all the notes from the high end bass you often get in dance-hall reggae, the standard drum kicks of rock, R&amp;B and live music, to the ridiculous low ends of hip-hop. And that's in a sealed enclosure, I can't imagine what they would sound like ported. They also require very little space, mine are in .75 cu ft each. Bottom line is if you want loud clean tight bass at any level and you have the amp power you won't be disappointed with these subs only the police will be..trust!!!! ..me!!!!. Peace........ P.S. JL Audio is a very good sub dont get me wrong But this T-5!!!!...
