I set gain on amp with DMM to 42.24v and system was not loud at all. headunit volume is 35 of 50 on sony HU.... so I turn up settings on amp to get reading of 52v and i get the sound that I know speakers are capable of peforming but few minutes after playing subs were extremely hot.... is amp just that underated? I have seen videos of people with same system but pushing less watts and seems they are getting way beeter results... subs can handle 1000 rms.... please help this is driving me crazy.... do i need higher powered amp? better HU? big three upgrade? im lost</p></blockquote><p></p>
