So I have 2 massive audio 12" gtx124 and a skar 1500rp my head unit is a single dim pioneer deh something and today **** got weird my subs are making a weird noise now. So I took out the subs and put in my old skar evl 12 and it's still not right. My head unit is at volume 45(out of 62) the meter doesn't show any clipping lpf 80hz hpf 80hz sub control -6 then 12db. My amp gain is 3/4 of the way up subsonic not sure the number but about a quarter way up. And the evil 12 is rated for 1250 watts and with all that I measured the amps and the volts and the math came out to 170watts... That doesn't make any sense at all. And I don't understand why. And I'm curious if anyone has any idea bc I'm worried my subs are fried or something after just buying $466 worth of subs and boxes. It doesn't look like there's any clipping but if it turn my head unit up by even just 1 I start to earn almost like a small quick popping noise.
