I am currently looking for a new set-up. I've had at least 3 set-ups in the past 9 years, but the only one I liked was my first, guess it was because it was my cherry popper....LOL 1st set-up 2002-2004 Sony head unit 2 rockford fosgate 10'' hx subs lighting audio amp 2nd set-up 2007-2008 Alpine head unit 2 JBL grand touring 12'' subs JBL mono amp (this one ******) 3rd set-up 2008-2009 Pioneer head unit 2 Kenwood exceleron 12'' subs Kenwood exceleron amp (blew the subs 2 times) NOW, i have a Pioneer DEH-14UB head unit, and I'm looking at 2 different subs that I want to get but don't know which one would suit me better as a SPL fanatic. I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma single cab, the bed has a canopy on it so it would be back there, access window will be open at times but most of the time closed until I can do some modifications, or when I get a car I will transfer the subs and stuff into the car. Two choices I'm looking at. (1) Alphasonik PSW412E - 12'' 500 watts RMS (2) Pineer TS-W308D$ - 12'' 400 watts RMS Champion Pro series Please help me on this, I'm not a novice, but I've never heard either one of these subs in person, only online and we all know the sound online won't compare for **** in person. Thanks in advanced.
