I have a Kenwood deck and 4 Alpine 6 1/2"s in my panels (Camaro). What I wanna eventually do is put 2 6x9s behind my seats and have an amp powering them, but that's besides the point. What I wanna do now is just power my 4 Alpines with a Kenwood 640 watt amp (don't have an amp at all right now). Should I get a 4 channel amp, then? And also, will they sound that much better? And when I do decide to put in 2 6x9s, how would I hook up the amp then? If I had a 4 channel amp, would I hook it up to the 2 6 1/2s in the back and the 2 6x9s and let the deck power the 2 6 1/2s in the front? Would that sound good? Thanks a LOT for any input guys. I appreciate it.
