Since you fail to see hte point. Shaq has already played against the Mavs, he had 2 fouls....the entire game!!!! Devin, Dirk, and Terry can drive to the rim all they want, Billups, Prince and Hamilton did the same. They are sitting at home right now. Shaq is a veteran player, he'll find a way to stay in the game, if he fouls out in game 1, he'll make an adjustment.

They didn't even beat anyone to get here, everyone and their mom knew it was going to be Detroit and Miami, cause the rest of the teams ****..

LOL, let's just admit that Expy2K is right....

Shaq can't post up and doesn't have the highest shoot percentage in the league.

Wade can't shoot or dunk or juke any of the Mavs out of their jockstraps

Haslem can't shoot or rebound

Williams and Walker can't penetrate to the basket or shoot the 3 ball

Posey can't play defense or shoot the 3 ball either

Zo can't come off the bench and block any shots

Payton can't distribute the ball, play defense or drop in a teardrop shot

If you want to look at the Dallas and Miami series one should look at the Miami vs the Bulls, where Miami lost..

The Bulls put Shaq in foul trouble early with thier aggressiveness towards the rim and ran over Miami that game basically..

Now delete the Bulls and add the mavs who are better scorers, faster, more athletic*, and better all around players.

The Mavs team doesn't have to worry about Shaq much, they are a jump shooting team deep down, and can shoot all night long; If Shaq goes bizerk in the paint.

Dallas will dicate the pace, they did it to the Spurs and Suns.

Sure Miami will try to slow it down and wait for Shaq to get down the court but I expect AJ to send Howard on Wade immediately and force him to give up the ball before Shaq is in place..

26,20,13,9,9 leading scorers for Miami 77

Miami is 15-24 ish when teams reach 100..

I have no doubt Mavs will win.

Wanna talk about deep, I'd much rather have the Mavs bench then the "most inconsistant" bench of the league! Sure they have "potential", all NBA players have "potential". Mavs aren't the pistons, they won't have six games of bad shooting in a row.

And nobody doubts Shaq. We all know he is oversized and barrels over people to get easy buckets. I don't claim van horn or dampier either!

But they are going to treat him just like Duncan. Let him get his and guard the other players. My money is Howard guarding Wade most of the series. Don't be surprised if Wade doesn't shoot his 75%. According to ESPNs poll, on sportscenter, they showed that only three states thought Dallas was going to win, Texas and Oklahoma (the third being discounted for some pissed of Pistons fans in Michigan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif ). Dallas has proved this season and all playoffs that they are just as title worthy as the next team- if not more.

Yeah, the bandwagon peeps are funny. I would of figured that most people would pick the Mavs to win.

Shaq will get his and so will Wade. Wade is the best player left on the court, but the Mavs have more shooters. It will be interesting to see how this series turns out. I don't think either team will be blown out.

Also, don't think Haslem will get pwnt by Dirk. Haslem is a better defender then what Dirk has seen so far in teh playoffs and Wade played against better defensive players in the Detroit series. Mavs will have some trouble containing him.

Some of you act like the Mavs waltz thru the playoffs. They barely beat San Antonio and beat a worn out Pheonix team that wasn't even expected to get past the first round...

What do you mean barely beat San Antonio? They were up 3-1, they just had a typical Mavs choke session but they recoved. But they were not outplayed as a team tho..

The Suns team was worn out towards the end, thank their coach for that. He obviously never caught a Mavs game from 00-04.. ha ha ha..

However many points Wade gets Dirk will get plus 2-5..

Whatever Shaq gets Howard will counter plus or minus..

So that basically leaves Miami with their blundering regulars to outscore, THE BEST bench in the NBA hands down! Not happening in a 7 game series.

Stack alone outscore many benches in any given night..

Secondly, once Shaq and Wade are off the court for a rest Dallas should have not problems getting points, but Miami will with their best players out.

Lastly, Miami BETTER hope Jason Terry doesn't get outta his slump or you will see double digit wins for the Mavs, every game!

Miami has not faced a potent* offense in the playoffs yet, they would have seen one had Detroit not been playing with a beach ball and mase in their eyes and grease on their hands..

Going to be a rude awaking when they realize they can't defend the Mavs as well as they thought and why they can't outscore score them either.
