I didn't watch much of the game. Did the Mavs have a poor shooting night or did the Suns play defense?

I just watched the first quarter and it seemed as if both teams were getting baskets with relative ease. Stackhouse was looking pretty good for a while. I didn't watch any of the 2nd half.

Yeah, stackhouse was doing well in the first half. The mavs pulled it within 3 (or maybe closer?) around the 7 minute mark in the 3rd quarter. Then it all fell to shit. Poor shooting and really, a lot of good rolls and bounces for the Suns. Lots of tip around rebounds, etc that went to the suns. Frustrating nonetheless. Not sure if the Suns defense was great, perhaps it was. I just know I saw a lot of good looks that were missed.

Suns plain and simple just beat the Mavs. Thats what happens when they play as a team. If Nash scores more than 20, good luck winning that game. Suns have so many dangerous players. One game is Nash then Marion, then Diaw,then Barbosa. Then you have some other players that add to it like Bell, Thomas. I mean they have a killer roster. I really think it could be there year. I find it funny that Adrian Griiffin had a better game than Nowitzki. I mean he was 3-13. This isn't their year, they are lucky they got past the Lakers. Nash is MVP for a reason. If he weren't there they would have no chance so their players cannot be that "killer." Half of those players wouldn't be starters on half of the NBA teams.

You are friggin crazy dood. Go look at there stats this year. They are pretty impressive if you ask me. I mean you got a guy Like Nash of course running the show which helps, you are right there. But I feel that Barbosa could be an excellent starting point guard somewhere. Then Diaw could start as well. Thing is they just play so well together so it really dont matter where else they play hence the reason why they are a good team, they just all gell together well. Who cares really if they dont start somewhere else. They are playing on a championship caliber team and playing well. I think they could do it this year. If not still was a hella run considering they are missing one of there biggest stars on there team in Armare Stoudamire. Man if they had him they would line up like this. Marion,Diaw,Stoudamire,Bell and Nash with Barbosa, Jones,T.Thomas,K. Thomas coming off the bench. Man to me that is scary.
