Do you follow anything I say? I said defense won the last two championships. That would usually imply that offense has won championships. Defense can win championships and usually a great defense will win out over a good offense, but it is not always the case. The Lakers won 2 or 3 championships in a row with a mostly offense oriented team. Like I said, there are many different approaches you can take to bring in a ring. It all depends on the players you have and there talents. Just because one series features two teams that don't run up and down the court doesn't mean the series is a bore. I prefer to watch Wade and Shaq over any other players left in the playoffs anyway.

I never asked for credit. You simply stated that the Heat/Pistons series is a bore and you got all pissed when I said it was just your opinion and that I prefer to watch the Heat/Pistons because I like more defense opposed to run n gun. You just didn't read through the context and understand what I was saying, and I'm sure I didn't clarify it the way I should have after I read through it. I was right about Miami taking both home games. And now people are finally realizing that Miami IS a better team then Detroit, when they play to their potential. Even the media has jumped ship on Detroit, who was favored to win the series. All Detroit has done is whine like little girls about nobody giving them respect..If they want it..earn it.
If Mavs finish off the Suns like it seems will happen, don't think for one second that they will "steam roll" Miami. Miami can take the Mavs in a 7 games series.

Miami is clicking at just the right time. They haven't played good basketball at all this year, they just started to step it up during the playoffs. I'll be the first to admit, when they traded Jones and got Walker, I was pissed. I was pissed throughout the whole season I didn't think they had a chance to beat Detroit. Walker has really stepped his game up in the playoffs though. GP is doing great also. I think he's doing a fantastic job on Billups.

I'm concerned about Shaq matching up against Diop. The Heat are not going to hesitate like the Suns have when going to the basket against Diop.

Well Dallas easily defeated Miami during the regular season. But then again, the Pistons beat them 3-1 and the lone win came on a Dwayne Wade last second shot. But it's useless talking about any team until they are officially in. Anything can happen.

Don't count out Detroit until they lose 4......Miami is playing GREAT ball now though. Wade is on another level... but I will not give up hope until the buzzer sounds and Detroit lost 4...and then I'll be lookin foward to them re-grouping next year... If they do lose, at least ALOT of the bandwagon Pistons fans will find a new team. I hate bandwagon fans!!!

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with you 100%. It ain't over til it's over.
Miami is clicking now, because they have a great feel for each others style of play. Something that they where stuggling to find during the season, being a freshly assembled team. It's all about who can step up at crunch time.
Phoenix is not a balanced team. They have great transition offense and can fast break like crazy, but lack a strong enough defense to, IMO, be a true contender. Don't count them out of the series yet though.
My prediction, if Miami and Mavs go to the finals, is that Miami takes it is 6. Yes, Mavs beat Miami during the regular season, but that doesn't mean anything. Especially this season. Dirk will still get his 30pts,b ut Miami's transition offense will put up numbers on Dallas, and Miami's defense is better then Phoenix's, so don't think the Mavs are gonna score at will.
