Huh????? I don't quite get it. One post you claim Dallas doesn't blow leads, and another post you claim your only gripe with Avery is he allows the team to blow leads.

They don't (normally) blow 4th quarter leads that is...

AJ has blown many leads in the 3rd tho this year.. by sitting Terry and Dirk when they are clicking..

and remember WADE got 42 points..

So that means that the Heat players still did not step up.

Dallas has nothing to fear except Dirk and Howard shooting like shit again for the ENTIRE 1st half.

Still have yet to see Dirk and Howard combine for 60. They did come close with 51 though. Not exactly easy to have two players combine for 60. Shaq and Kobe did a lot, but Dirk and Howard aren't Shaq and Kobe, and Shaq and Wade aren't Shaq and Kobe. Maybe Wade and Shaq could do it if Shaq was 4 years younger.

I don't think he is "sitting" them just to sit them. He's getting them rest. You know players do need rest if they want to have anything left in the 4th quarter.

They Don't need rest in the 3rd quarter tho, after you just had halftime..

Dirk doesn't run he doesn't have to worry about getting tired, Terry yes, Dirk hell no..

Dirk is a zigzag, step back, fade away, spin fade away shooter. He needs to be on the floor as much as possible when games are getting close..

If your out of shape. You're in the finals, best players are expected to play close to whole game in the Finals.

Either way, Howard and Dirk are just fine. The team is playing perfectly fine still, they just hit a bump in the road.

Expy: I do agree, AJ seems to lose 4th quarter leads much easier then the Nelson days. He will quickly learn though. I don't think he'll be replacing a clicking five for the rest of the series unless it's clearly over.

AJ should NEVER have taken Howard, Dirk, Terry, Stack out of the 4th quarter PERIOD tonight..

Because the Loss tonight would have been more damaging to the Heat than anything..

Don Nelson was the BEST 4th quarter closer in the NBA look it up, and he is in Miami and what? Yep, employed by the Mavs!

I'm sure you'll find AJ is playing all his players about the same time he has through out the entire playoffs. Lebron is the only player I can remember that pretty much plays the entire game on occasion.

i went to the AAC for the watch party tonight. it was fun, not fun enough though.
