just looking over the stats for the game... the heat were held to under 15 pts in a quarter twice in this game. they will need to "run the table" more than just one quarter (31 pts in the 1st) to be successful.

I'm not being cocky, I just know who is going to win lol... Dallas IS a better team all around. Of course Miami and Dallas have their different strengths and weaknesses, but Dallas has an amazing ten man rotation which Miami simply cannot match. "BUT WTFBBQSAUCE MIAMI WAS ONLY DOWN BY 3 THE LAST 3 MINUTES"

Dallas is not the kind of team that goes off to win many games by 20+ points. Most of their games end up close. Does that necessarily mean that every team the Mavericks has played was actually on the same level as the Mavericks, no...

In fact, I think I've only seen one game this season where the Mavs ended up slaughtering their opponent like 25+ Eyyy, wuddya know, that was against the Heat (I'm not saying anything with this statement, just that this was one of their few gigantic leads they've had in the season.)

They haven't had any crushing defeats in the entire playoffs really either... Least the ones I've watched...

Expect Mavs games to be close, but do not expect the other team to win even if it is close. It's just how the Mavs play.

if your a road team in a 7 game series, splitting one of the first two games is a good thing. so hopefully game 2 miami can do this and have home court advantage. GO HEAT!

Pimp89 actually it was closer to 37 points..

Once the series goes to 1 day rest, Miami is doomed..

Shaq will look like a fat man in an oven.... sweatin like a pig..

So far they've finished opponents when they were AWAY, so yeah Dallas better come home and win at 6.

Yeah I did not remember the exact number, I knew it was high up there though. They really crushed the Heat that night.

Soon as the 2007 sched. is out I am taking off work to fly to Miami for away games with Dallas. Because Miami is going to want revenge after being azzfuked in the finals this year..

Best thing its only under $400 bucks to fly to SA and watch them play Dallas, that includes great seats, taxi, airfare, and food!

Gonna be a busy year!!!

GG Dallas, but don't talk s*** yet. Miami played sloppy for most of the game. Miami if fully capable of taking game 2 in Dallas. When Miami was palying on point, Dallas could do nothing to stop them, but then they got relaxed and Dallas took the advatage and momentum. Miami's freethrow shooting and Jason Terry were Dallas' only saving grace.

I'm just happy I ended up drunk and passed out for the 4th Q. I was happy right up until where I remember and Heat were only down like 2 in the 3rd. What happened? But I had a feeling Jason Terry would light it up. I love the guy and when he's on, he's on... he's a little streaky tho, I wouldn't guaruntee him having another 30 pt game in game 2.

I hope Terry he gets 20 on Sunday and Dirk and Howard get 60ish combined..

That leaves Stackhouse, Damp, Devin, and even Van Horn a chance to put the dagger in the Heat.

Soon as Dallas realizes they can play Wade harder without worring about racking up fouls early the better.

Avery needs to watch tape and realize how bad Dallas torched Miami in transition and that they got in sync when they sped the tempo up..
