narrowed down to these 3

Rockford 1000.1BD is high quality. they will all have the same sq.
Yeah, in retrospect I think I would go that route as well. Nothing wrong with having some headroom, as long as the price difference isn't substantial....All 3 are really good amps, you can't go wrong with any of them. Still, I'd say rockford, especially if you want to upgrade someday. (Assuming the current sub is not rated at 1000 watts rms)

hell, if you're getting 1 12" w6 I would definitly get the 500/1. Talk about a perfect match. The RF would be nice, but way more power than you need. You dont wanna risk blowing the sub unless your sure how to get the amp controls. Unless you plan on upgrading to a 1krms setup, then I would stick with the 500/1 amp. JMO.

i guess i will go to my local audio shop and see which is the cheapest and go for that one. But i had a question. does anyone own a RF P1000.1BD amp? If so, what does the birthsheet show as actual RMS power?

If you plan on running another W6,I would get the RF 1000.1bd wire it to 2ohms keep the gain kinda low, Then add another W6,wire it to 1ohm and set the amp to 1000wRMs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
