Naproxen

I have some really bad back problems, and chiropractor sais that I may have a rib that is out of place from my spine. I go to the doctor to get some pain meds since it is really hard to work with the unbairable pain. I get this naproxen, and I have heard someone say it doesnt do shit to help. Anyone have experience with this drug?

isnt naproxen the same shit as aleve? if so, it wont do shit (at least not for my sciatica).

ibuprofen works better. both are "non steroidal anti inflammatorys"

Its an anti-inflammatory not a pain killer. Wont give you any buzz but should help relieve some discomfort.

Napoxen is the same as Aleve that you will find on any drugstore shelf next to aspirin.

You need to see a real doctor to get decent pain meds.

not sure, but I have also gotten prescription ibuprofen and that has not really helped either, Hydrocodones and muscle relaxers seemed to be the best for me.

They prescribed naproxen for me to help with my scoliosis, but it didnt do shit for me except make me tired. I found what helps my scoliosis is Osteobiflex its for knee/joints but it helps my back out quite a bit. I originally got it for my knees cuz i have bad knees as well but then noticed my back didnt hurt as much so thats good. Prolly wont help with your pain tho.

Naproxen is weak, they have it on the shelf, but I think the prescription might be a little stronger, but still it sucks. Get some tylenol3 w/ codone or something that might help

Your chiropractor has failed you, if you do try it just get aleve off the counter and take 2, the prescription itself is expensive as shit compared to what a bottle of aleve costs.
