i had some supposed cubans that were supposedly imported that belonged to my friends dad. i doubt they were cubans, but i dont know anything really about tobacco. i heard lots of them are fakes anyways. but i will say this....
they tasted like shit, just like all tobacco does. in fact they tasted worse than regular tobacco. they give off just this disgusting lingering smell that smells like tobacco with some other smell. they tasted just how they smelled too, terrible.

they are from my tasting journal.
I keep records of flavor hints, wrapper quality, aroma, etc. Along with pics of the stick, smoke, and of course I keep the bands..each page the band for that particular smoke...eh...its a hobby =\

I'm tempted to do that in order to expand my pallete. I am definitely a new smoker (less than a year) but my ability to pick out the various hints in a smoke is slowly being refined.

However, at the same time, I can't be bothered. lol.

well...usually i try to get pics of the smoke coming out of the cigar. You can tell a lot from the thickness of the smoke such as ease of draw. to me, molasses, all the other goodies, and then the tobacco mean, its not the tobacco that give it the flavor IMO.

yea but telling how easy something draws is pretty easy to see without taking a picture IMO.

none the less, i just though you were trying to "show off" which i thought was gay. but obviously it has a specific purpose.
