Name brand wiring kit "alternatives"?

Does anyone here buy their power/ground wiring from an actual electrical store, or wherever, instead of buying prefab 'amp kits'?

Just wonder, I'm needing 1/0AWG wiring for my amp, and paying ~$140-200+ seems like a huge rip off for a bunch of wires, or am I wrong here...

Any ideas?

you can get thier 1/0 kit but it doesnt come with rca's though, but if u only want 1/0 their your looking 1.75per ft for their KLM and the kolossus is 3.40per ft(5145 strands of copper)

I'm just fascinated at the prices. I don't ever remember them being this much a few years ago, then again I never needed such a big gauge either.

find a welding supply store to see what they got, other wise i bought KNU wire
