I will tell you first hand that i am a noob. i dont know about everybody else but its hard for me to get some help on this site. I can get a first reply but after i cant answer a complicated question perfectly i get no more replies. This is very ------ up.

amp overheating(prolly cause its cheap).....its all right.....its a 820 spl series 1 amp. same ground as power, the concept 12''s are in a sealed box(like 3'1" x 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 not sure but thats close) are bridged. Need to know a site with concept reviews......dont know what subs i have

need to know what size ports in suv

i will be back 45 after the hour

maybe soem of the reasons you dont get a good answer is because you dont make the questions understandable and people are not going to answer stupid questions like were to find reviews on a sub when you can go and search google or yahoo just as easy as everybody else and what the heck do you mena what size port in a suv

well as far as the amp goes, Is it a 2 channel amp that is bridged? Are your subs 4 ohm subs wired together in parrallel to the amp to give it a 2 ohm load? If so most amps cant handle a 2 ohm load while they are bridged. As far as the concept reviews I cant help you there. And for the ported box specs try to find the manufacture website and contact them.

the amp is 2 ohm stable sterio and 4 mono......the subs are parallel to the amp....i was just asking about the ports becuase people tell me i need them and people say i dont because its an suv......the subs are svc

Well a ported box can make your sub more fine tuned you can make them louder or sound better it is just sorta like a way to fine tune your subs no matter what vehicle

Your amp cant handle being bridged with 2 4ohm svc subs wired in parallel to it. Your best bet would to run it 4 ohm stereo. Or you can get a new amp that will handle 2 ohms mono. Or you can get new subs, some that have dual 4 ohm voice coils.

Try talking in complete sentences. If no one can understand WTF you're saying, you'll be ignored for sure. It's your loss not ours.

Excuse me? You think we've got nothing else to do with our lives but hang around here waiting for you to make sense? Guess again.

well, if u know wat DVC ur subs r and wat they wired to that could help too. this is prob ur biggest problem.

check google for concept reviews.

Amen

and as to whether to port or not, dat's ur own choice. ur setups would sound louder when ported, but depending hte frequency it might not sound as clean as ur current setup

Thanks to all for all the help......i wasn't flaming anybody, i was just asking why, me being a newb, am having trouble getting help. Thanks again...

i agree some of the noobs make questions very hard to understand. u guys gotta at least make ur questions more in depth rather than just saying some like what kinda port size do i need in an SUV. Make Questions clear and ulll get an answer.
