I bought one and I told all the guys at work that it was pretty strong and could take a beating.

The ring did not have any scraches or cracks anywhere

The first guy tried hitting it with a 1" metal pipe and it shattered.

Not even a trace of it anywhere.

They bought me another one but dont belive what the sales people tell you.

The one I have now is not scratched at all, but may break

my main wedding band is a simple gold band like that, When I was a grunt worker, I had to have it so it wouldnt be beat to hell. Now, I wear a much nicer band since I dont get dirty TOO often. I dont wear it all the time though, never have. In fact, for the past few days, I have been secretly looking around the house for the nicer one, it seems to have disappeared :-O
