Why run 500ft of cat6 through your house? Hook your 360 to your laptop and it will work even better then 500ft of cable.

hahah roll up your 500ft of cable and bring it to your room. connect one end to your laptop and one end to your 360. go to start, control panel, click on view network status and tasks, on the left panel click on manage network, right click on your network connection and click properties, click on sharing and check all of the boxes and then you're set.

use ur laptops wireless internet connection bridge it to the wired connection connected to your xbox ive done it but i just have the router in my room so 25ft cord isnt a big deal for me over a 50dollar wireless hunk of shit

There's hardly any lag when i play. Every 15th game or so i might get a little lag but thats about it. This is at my parent's house with 1.5m. At my place, i have 10m so i doubt there will be any lag.
