do i spy a tendon with my little eye?
ha, yes. i had a big sheet of expanded metal dropped on it by some kid this stuff i severed that tendon you see, and partially the one on the side, i couldnt use my hand at all for a while, and it took 10 weeks of physical rehab for it to get back to close to what it was before it happened

I weld quite frequently but usually use GMAW or FCAW. I can also do SMAW, but I rarely do it anymore because the shop I work in usually only uses 16 gauge box tube. Next semester, I am thinking of getting my 4G cert in dual shield GMAW and in single shield GMAW. One day, I will post some of the stuff I have made, but most of it consists of theatrical framing and prop construction. It is rare that I get a job that takes more skill than squaring 2 piece of steel. Although I am a perfectionist and always make sure everything looks pretty and is structural. As I learned from a vetern welder who has worked in an industrial setting for 20+ years, one bad weld can cost a few million dollars and waste a few days of work.
