first impressions...
this Damp Pro stuff looks slick/neat, a very heavy, solid looking product. i was thinkin, no way in hel this stuff will stick to my car. its heavy and i live in an area that reaches 110+ degrees in the summer and below 30 in the winter. gonna put this stuff to the test. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i have a 99 Accord with some Oz 180cs comps in my front doors, couldnt freakin wait to see how these mids were going to sound all dampened up with the Damp Pro. ive heard over and over that these mids are pretty badazz but i have yet to hear them in a quality install. anyway, i ripped my door apart, cleaned off all the factory crap and started cutting and installing my new product. since i had no blades to cut the Damp Pro, i grabbed a pair of Fisker scissors and went to town. dam!, this stuff cuts like butter and was super easy to manipulate. youll have zero problems trying to get it right where you want it and if you mess up, its easy to pull off and sticks back on like new. also, theres no stinky mess.
performance...
all i have to say, is, my Oz comps sound AWESOME now!. i only have 75 watts a side going to them but they sound freakin great! i listen to everything from jazz to metal to Bass Mekanik to the blues and then some and the mids totally came to life. perfectly tight, smooth, low hitting bass that blends perfect with my 12" RE SE. i remembered the big cheese over at Oz Audio said these Oz mids are gonna make my pant legs shake, i just laughed at him, uh, but now they do! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif as far as how the deader held up, i installed a little bit about a year ago, even some little pieces and it all stayed in place. i thought for sure the 113 degree summer was going to melt it causing it to slide around but it all looks as good as the day i installed it. i even pulled a little off to see if it was hard to remove or how big of a mess it would make but i got nothing. stuffs AWESOME! you could easily come back a year later, pull it off, and change it up.
anyway, i totally dig this stuff, loved workin with it. if anyone needs a single layer of deadener, this is it, handsfukdown! and dont worry about Second Skin, their customer service was fast and flawless!
thanks again Ant!
