I had 8 tweeter enclosures made previously when the plan was to make a hybrid line array and there was drama in making those, short story, the machinist messed up a little, then I changed my mind on plating and the platers messed up. What I got was 8 tweeter enclosures that were unique but not what I visioned. It's ok, it's a consistent screw up and nobody will know. Here is picks of that. Pics of machined parts; These parts is for one tweeter. I need parts to make 21 tweeters plus spares, lots of work on machining. I'm not a machinist so I have to hire someone cheap. http://home.pacbell.net/lordpk/sa/test.jpg Problem is, when the design migrated from a hybrid array using 4 tweeters per tower to a full blown line array with 8 tweeters per tower, I need more tweeters and enclosures. It would be difficult to duplicate the screw up on those 8 tweeter enclosures so I figure I need to do a new batch from scratch. I just have to find a machinist that wouldn't charge me a ton of money to make 231 machined parts plus spares. The tweeter enclosure is to protect the expensive tweeter, make it easy to install in the box when arrayed, and you have to rework the internal electrical wiring from the front of the tweeter to the rear of the box. Yeah, that tweeter is a mechanical headache, but SQL is unreal and worth the nightmare if you ever experience one. There is a reason for my madness
