Okay so this is what I got I bought a dd3515 that was blown from a friend and I was going to send it to my local shop for refining back to original but when I got a quick quote I decided to lick at other options so as I was looking around I fell upon the idea of making it into a complely different woofer. I'm thinking of getting a 18" basket and a 18"fi refine kit and putting the three together. You think it would work? I've done my research and I can get a 18" basket for around 45$ that will bolt right on @ the refine would be about 120 from fi. That comes to about 200 with everything (basket, CA glue, & recone) compared to at least 300 to get it reconed. Lmk what you guys think?
