My official "I fcking hate fed-ex" thread

So i'll give you an update on whats been happening over the past two months.

Iamamp3pimp sent me a 20.1 a while back,after fed-ex coming by 4 times to deliver it they finally caught someone at home(sig required) even though we told them EACH TIME to go to the neighbors and have him sign. Well we eventually get it and it was broke, but his packaging was superb. I contact him, he says he will file a claim, so we file it, and fed-e is supposed to call me to send someone out to pick it up, they never do for like 3 weeks. So We decide just to get it fixed by IA.

Well while I was gone at school the claims man came by and my dad gave him the package AFTER we decided to go another route...awesome...

So we cal fed-ex the next day, they say a claim was never filed on the package. Call them the day after, they say a claim was filed but never picked up. Next day, claim was filed, picked up, we will call you back and set up a time to get it back to you since you want to close the claim.

2 weeks pass, nothing...

Same shit goes on at UPS. I know because I have shipped literally millions of packages through them over the past 15 years. All companies will use the insufficient packaging cop out to avoid paying high dollar claims. They can prove within a reasonable doubt that:

a) It was not packaged well enough and was damaged due to that

b) It was already damaged before shipping and you are scamming them

They have very high dollar corporate attorneys that will defend them in a lawsuit. I have gone that route before as well. Sounds like your only option is a PP claim. Good luck with that one.. HA!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

yeah i sent 9seconlives a sub in a trade (and got scammed) luckily the sub got busted on the trip down there and i filed a claim... 2 months later i get a check to replace the sub... took a lot of work and such but i finally got the money

almost reminds me of having to wait 6 months for a UPS store in buttfvck north carolina to "find the package" to complete the claim process correctly to receive your insurance settlement...

So if you swear by the packaging, could it have been damaged before it was packaged? Just asking
