**** that sux have you ever thought of satelite internet my friend has it and it is like twice as fast as dial up still slower then high speed but at least it is workable

yeah it didn't work either i tried wild blue...hughs net may work better though...i never see wild blue advertisements and always see hughs net ads on tv

It doesn't matter what forum you are on, dial up is slow as hell. I used to live in the sticks too. Dial up is so slow it pissed me off and I quit getting on the internet. How do you do it yo? And how do you find the time to wait for everything to load?

its hell at times...a 5 min youtube video takes about 30 mins to load....

I work for Centrury Link our HQ is in your state....I doubt 56k is all you have avail. Actually knowing the company I work for I take that back 56k is ur best bet.
