brand spankin new .357 6 shot 4 inch barrel. got a custom grip on it as well.
went out and shot some .38 sp. thing shoots great. took me a while to get acustomed to it because im in hays (where its always crazy wind) and sand was being blown into my eyes so for the first 35 rounds i was battling teary eyes and wind.

i think i've fallen in love with it, i take it with me everywhere almost. have it in my backpack right now (its spring break, we're visiting everywhere). i need to buy another box or two of ammo tomorrow. im hoping the walmart here dosen't give me too much shit. around here (not sure if its like this everywhere) they wont sell you ammo for 'use' with a handgun. so i'll ask for some .357 mag then tell them its for use with my 'winchester trapper' if they say anything. if that works i'll revert to plan A) and pistol whip the poor bastard

yeah, im a revolver guy. i dont like automatics at all, they dont fit in my hand well and theres just something about revolvers i love, i think part of it is staring down the sites and seeing the shells in my prefrial. i had a sig for a bit and it was nice because i could shoot .357 and .40 but im just a revolver whore so i gave it back to my dad

not a toy though. i'm finally walking with a small limp after my incident. i also cant wait for the gun show coming up in my town. its supposed to be pretty big. its on the 25/26th of this month. i plan on bringing home a new gun of some sort.

i'm pretty much better for the most part... my limp will be gone hopefully soon. i just have a different view these days. i'm happy i missed every nerve, major arteries, and my bone... any of which could have gotten my leg amputated. i excersized caution before, but now i have a new understanding of things.
i hope you enjoy it, i've been thinking of getting a revolver, but there are other guns i wish to purchase 1st i think. have any suggestions??? i'm thinking of a semi-auto rifle of some sort. but i'm not sure which one i want. i was thinking of a ruger 10/22. or a highpoint .40 cal carbine.
