My new toy.. 450 hp neon w pics n vids ;)

Lol.Hmmmm, what puts a car in the category of ricer?
Hahaha I was just laughing at all these guys talking about how their cars are just bad @ss when the only thing they where good for was to get from point A to point B reliably and on the least amount of fuel.... Now they get there kinda fast but arent reliable or get good gas milage any longer (At least compared to stock)

Haha, I hear you. Well I mean I wouldnt consider a Neon a Ricer, but there are some fast ricers out there.

Sorry to say it but just cuz a Neon is made by Chrysler its still a Ricer... Just like a Ford Focus is lol... Yes there is some fast nicely built 4 cylinders out there but like I said they where built for two things and once they are built no longer do either very well.... Even when they are built they still dont really put down impressive numbers so its kinda pointless IMO...

A stock SRT4 puts out very impressive #s IMO. Thats about the only car though. Very few cars within $10k of it will match it 0-60. But just like ANY car, if you put enough money into it, it will be fast. 4 cylinders have their limits, but the weight of the cars will always prevail. I do agree that front wheel drive cars ****, though. I have had 2 :/

I guess but its even more impressive when you can be even faster with triple the weight and be more useful daily and get better gas mileage......

Yes, but then we jump back into the money pit... It costs a ton more to accomplish that. And "useful daily" is in the eye of the beholder. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There are plenty of cars that can be as fast, if not faster for 10k. I personally would purchase a supercharged or turbo M3. There is a guy on my BMW forums that is selling a 1000WHP 328is built to the max. Granted you will never be able to use that power, but it has a BMW interior, BMW handling and RWD. The E36 model M3 is a GREAT deal now and is an amazing performing car. Back in 1997, car and driver did a 40k+ car shootout with the NSX, Supra, Ferrari among other cars and the BMW M3 won as the best overall performer. I miss my car everyday!

car on the right was mine

Yea it was 6 or 7k. Regardless, that isnt stock. I am talking a stock SRT4 brand new vs any other car brand new in the price range. Of course you can buy an even older car that has even more done to it for around the same money he spent. And I feel you. I had a 95 325is. Loved that car, but the previous owner fucked it all up, and I ended up with a money pit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I really want an original M3 or just an early 90s 3 series. Or an Audio Quattro.

Btw, dope pic!

Well when they were new, they were 20+k if I remember right? I think the WRX was in the same price range. I would rather have a WRX then a SRT-4. Thats just me. I love to ski and board and would need the AWD for the places I go.
