I don't get the tweeter system at all.... Anyone care to explain?

How the hell does the mounting system work? (directions did NOT help at all...)

Guess what though! I can't start installing them yet... My ****ing garage is full of an old bathroom..... I guess I'll just get it all prepped tonight... and hopefully the garage will be empty by Sunday... Except I have a ton of school work due Tuesday... I just know that some people were waiting to see how good the mid-bass on the 5" model was...

Bump... Seriously... I don't get how to get the tweeter out of the casing to mount it..

I was trying to figure this out a few days ago too. I tried poping one of them out of the housing, which was a mistake.

All you have to do is twist the black outer housing from the silver and it will come out.

Yeah.. I just got that far.. The surface mounting thing doesn't seems to be working.... W/e I'll do a flush mount... I just need to find a place to do it...

IF someone has done the surface mount.. Please tell!

Can you tell me what you did? Not how you mounted it... I'm fine w/ screwing it in.... How do the mounting rings work? I just don't get it.. The flush mounting system is realle, But w/ the surface mounting, the pieces just don't fit together... I don't know how to put it together is what I am trying to say.. lol

I was having the same problem, for about five minutes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif You have to press down on the middle of the tweeter and twist, and the sucker will pop right out. Just mess with it for 5-10 minutes with the directions and you should get it..
