[QUOTE="james33440, post: 822330, member: 545236"] Well, as some of you known, I received an Eclipse CD8053 as a trade for my Alpine CDA-9831 deck. However, long story short, the Eclipse deck was locked because of the ESN Security feature so I am sending it back tomorrow. Besides, I never shipped out my Alpine anyway. Anyway, I was reinstalling my CDA-9831 yesterday and for some strange reason the deck didn't want to power up. I double checked everything and nothing (wired were right and the fuses are fine). So, earlier I went to SoundAdvice and was looking to get my deck repaired. But, I remembered that I had the extra warranty on it. So, I was able to replace it with an equal value deck. I was going to pay the difference and get a NIB CDA-9835 (they wanted $410). However, I saw the CDA-9853 on display and it seemed kinda cool. So, I got it for an even up trade! I will take pics later. BTW, the only draw back I see (without looking into the manual) is that fact that the deck doesn't have 4V outputs...
