Nice, but that's an odd-*** native, wonder why they didn't add the little extra required to run 1600x1200....

Still pretty though.

Edit: What'd that set you back?

I was going to say....if you had a working monitor, you should have gotten a desk first:D

I bought a similar screen, the 19" Wide-Screen model, just a few days ago for the office //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Nice screen for sure... amazingly inexpensive for the quality. I paid around $200 after tax at Staples for this screen and it easily Rivals the Viewsonic I bought a few years ago for almost $600 online price.

It is 1600 x1200, he just has his set different. I have the 225bw(last years model)

Native resolution is set at 1680x1050, according to him. Yeah, you could run 1600x1200 on it without problems, but LCD's look a lot better at their native resolutions.

1600x1200 is a 4:3 resolution. That is for regular old monitors, this is a widescreen monitor, which is why it is 1680x1050. 1680x1050 is not odd at all for a widescreen, its what any 20-22 wide will have. Personally i always like to get the smallest size screen with the largest rez, meaning in that range of 20-22 i would like to get a 20, since the 22 will have the same amount of pixels it just spreads them over a larger distance. If i was to go 22 i would just bite the bullet and go 24 instead since 24's run at 1920x1200.

Odd resolutions can make SOME vid cards act a bit wonky. I always had problems playing widescreen on my old 19" widescreen and my GeForce FX5200. If I ran it at a widescreen res, it would be choppy, and laggy, but run it at 1024x768 and it would run flawlessly.

Dunno, mighta just been my shit equipment :p
