i have a 2001 nissan maxima with a 110 amp alternator. i would like to upgrade to an AQ2200 or some type of 2500 watt amp. what do i need to acheive a good electrical?? if a HO alt, that what size? lmk something............

does it matter what kind of batts i get? and also, even if i do get a HO alt with the big three, don't i still have to get an extra battery?? i still don't understand that

Try to stay away from wal-mart batts...lol...and about the extra batt with big 3 and Ho alt it dpends...you can get the alt and Big 3 then see how your voltage is doing .....if it still drops a bit ...get a batt........and about the big3.....it's mostly just to set you up to run more power....given it does give better flow from stock alt to batt....it set's you up to run a bigger alt....meaning more power through 1/0
