Hi, I went from a 15" SPL oriented sub to a low powered 10" SQ sub, in a sealed box, in my trunk, with large amounts of foam, plastic, metal and upholstery between it and me... can someone tell me why its so quiet? IDQ10's will simply not survive on 500 watts each. If you think they will, its YOU that has too little experience with them. You are running 15's, the discussion is about 10's. There is a reason ID rates the 10's at half the power rating as the 15's. And frankly, its irresponsible for you to recommend such a setup when you have never tried it. And before you ask, Im currently running two IDQ10's, and have used IDQ's in various sizes for over 10 years now.
