you are drunker than you think you are. i am again speaking from experience in this situation. both of you just go to sleep, even if it is in different rooms. its for the best. stop hoping for drunk *** (i know i probably would be if i were you), thats probably the root of this fight (again, thats what it usually is for me).

When my gf drinks too much she makes somewhat awkward scenes and likes to get freaky. I used to be messed up with the scenes...but then I realize she is not as an experienced drinker as I am...I went through that shit in high school...not fighting, but passing out in public....vomitting in the drive thru at Krystal's etc.

So, to OP, how long has she been drinking? I mean, does she have the experience to know whe she has had too much or does she try to get this drunk?

I pegged you for a more level headed person, to hit her back when she is in the condition that she is, would be like hitting a child for hitting. Standing your ground is one thing, and dealing with her when she sobers up; on a level that is non violent, sure, kicking her to the curb sure, using braun over brain with a woman, not what I thought you would do. If she repeatedly did this, whos fault is it, in my mind, not hers, rather his/mine (what ever person you want to speak in) I am the one that is allowing her to continue with this behavior and keep the relationship. If the behaveior didn't change the relationship would. (if you get what i'm saying)

I answered the question with the mindset of being equally as drunk as her....not exactly a time of rational decision making. If it becomes prerequisite that I must be the "rational" one and can't "let go" (if you will) because I always have to play the part of the babysitter...then I just wouldn't drink with her and suggest that she doesn't drink either. If I was sober enough to make a video, I would be sober enough to not hit her....as he obvioulsy made the video with the intentions of posting it on the forum, an indicator of rational thought.

I guess I didn't fully explain where I was coming from in that comment. In my personal life, I have began to forsee these types of things before they unfold....stop my drinking and encouraging her stopping hers as well. But this comes with experience...and that was more of a focus of the post rather than my retaliation. Although I have seen circumstances with other parties where the man simply isn't able to subdue the woman without more excessive force.
