no see there are physical/mental/spiritual attractions in the typical relationship. no matter WHO YOU ARE, you will always look at someone who appeals to you, physically. I have yet to meet anyone who says their girlfriend is ugly, but hes with her because shes nice.

I like a little chicken on the wing, being "pleasantly plump" is fine. Its actually sexy to me...

But there has to be some attraction physically first. You just dont look at a girl from across the club and say "Duuuuuude! She has the cutest sense of humor! And daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, she has a great personality!"

You normally say, "Dude! Look at that rack! Imma go holla at her"

But anyways, if the dude is happy let him be. But if hes just going to b.itch about her all the time when shes not around then you need to tell him that he needs to sit down with her and get it all worked out and maybe come to an agreement.

heres my thinking:

I meet a female at *insert place* and I find her attractive and all that jazz. We start going out, dating, taking it more serious......and she starts gaining weight, and generally just not taking care of herself. Are you not going to say something? I personally like looking nice (within my bounderies of what "nice" is) when I go out. If my girl can't respect herself enough to a) look good and respect herself or b)take care of herself.....why should I be with her. I want a positive person in my life, and ugly ****ers are negetive.

Call me shallow if you will, but when it started....i fell for someone with respect for themselves.

Im not talking about a lady that had a kid and gained some poundage after that, because at that point........if you have a kid with someone, you should love them reguardless of anything.

yeah, I agree with that... if she puts on weight because of her changes in life style, then I can understand you not being happy with it... however, if she changes physically because of things beyond her control, then that shouldn't change your opinion of her.
