My Fosgate 12" 4 ohms

What amp would be the best to push them? Only have 500 watt max limit and rms is about 200. Rockford Fosgate Punch XLC. Yea the cheap pieces of crap is all I hear. I just need a little more bump in the trunk then I do have. Thanks.

Everyone on this forum is worried about loudness and fosgate is more expensive than they should be for what their subwoofers do.

Their amps however are fantastic. I've got a Punch Stage 2 - and i'm pushing it with a 250 x 2 Punch Amplifier. Bridged it works really well. Like you i'm just worred about a little bit of bump in my car, not worried about shaking the entire car on every bass note.

I'd say get a 300 watt 2 channel amp & bridge it. Cheapest way to go i'd imagine.

Right now i have my MTX Thunder 102.

Think if I bridged the 2 subs that would be fine?
