I was going to buy my Double Din head unit as I have made a decent amount of excess money in tips. I have been eyeballing the Kenwood eXcelon DMX706S and the price dropped on it so I decided to look at the owners manual again in detail this time. I want to be able to use Android Auto but I also want to attach at a minimum 250GB of music via a USB SSD. Turns out the DMX706S has but one USB cable 😢 So what I have to do now is save up for like one more week and I am going to go with the Kenwood eXcelon DNX696S which has TWO USB cables and a MicroSD card slot. The MicroSD slot is compatible with NTFS and a capacity up to 2TB. WhoooHoooo!! I am sold!!! Basically I can have copies of ALL of my HiRes music files permanently installed in my head unit! 😜 From ABBA to Witchery and everything in between.
