My dog scared me to death to day....

Well i came home from school today at 3 to find my 5 mnth old boxer having an alergic reaction....ive never witnessed nething like this so i ran wild tryin to get ahold of either of my parents to find out wat to do...however i knew to give him benedryl. about 30 mins l8er when my mom got home we went to the vet just to make sure...he wasnt acting ne different than usual and his breathing was fine but we went to the vet just to make sure. Vet says it was probably a bee sting and gave em a shot of Prednisone for the swelling and told us to keep em on Benedryl. here is a pic of him soon after the first dose of benedryl.

his are eyes as far open as they could be.

That happened to my Australian Shepard once, her snout swelled up horribly. Not a huge deal as long as their throat doesn't close up.

poor little guy, i get nervous when my boxer doesnt eat her food immediately, cant imagine how that had to feel.

My 10 yo irish terrier died two months ago. I was on a walk like three miles in the canyon and she started stumbling and fell over. She had cancer attatched to her stomach and it popped while she was running. Had to carry her 3 miles home dying.

Haha reminds me of the time the Irish terrior above ate a 2 pound box of Sees chocolates.

An hour later stomach all swollen, just standing there shaking with her tail in between her legs looking at the ground. So scary.

That dog also ate rat poison haha hard to kill i guess

the chocolate woulda been scary situation....one of my moms friends had a golden retriever eat a whole chocolate cake one time...had to force a bottle of peroxide down em to make em throw it up.
