Two days ago my dog murphy a Airedale ate a half a bag of little chocolate easter eggs and he has not been acting his peppy self he has been throwing up and lying down then getting back up just to ly down again he has been trying to poop to i`m just really worried cause the vet is closed any help or experiences?

My moms dog about 5 years ago ate 4 full chocolate bars, just puked for a couple days and she was fine. It was a Bichon too, fairly small dog. Your dog should be alright.

Give him a little piece of exlax or some other laxative to help him speed up the shitting process. Exlax taste similar to chocolate.

candy chocolate isnt as bad for a dog as you would think. the bakers chocolate aka powder chocolate that is really bad for them. candy bars shouldnt kill a dog especially one as big as and airedale. he's just sick.

He should be fine, my boxers constantly steal chocolate candies from my kids rooms. Keep an eye on him and let him out a few more times than usual.
