My 2 15" hdc3 alum are blown after 3 hours of use!

DMM is far better than setting by ear, but still no where near as accurate as a scope. There is also a very big difference between a reactive and nominal load, so when you think sub A is getting X amount of power, after rise, you could really be seeing about half of that, not to mention, when playing music.

Just my .02

BTW after the subs are in, and broken in, if you want I can throw my cheapo clamp meter on to get an idea of the power they are actually seeing.

yup...not too bad of a drive
and jbizzle I see you lookin...don't be doin this to yur now:laugh:
jbizzle has the clipping indicator on his remote knob, so he BETTER not lock them up. I saw no red light when he left after the install tonight, but the gain was still low to break them in. Gotta be tough for a 17yo to exercise restraint like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I have a clamp meter also if you want to borrow it. It reads up to 600.
