MX, o5 xxx, btl, napalm, DP, or w7

how is rhe sound quality on the napalms
I wouldnt call them a SQ sub, but they are definately very clear, and rock solid.

The sound is very full, but they wouldnt be confused for a sq sub, one reason

being because of the high BL, it's not as smooth as the UE TC sound sub, but IMO

the Napalms are still somehow more musical.

Best sq features of the subs are the full sound, they are very musical although

not neccesarily a sq sub, for little reason mostly relating to the high output, and

i'd say they do like playing pretty low. For example out of the 35mm one-way

xmax they use every bit of it for what ever note you hit and would move further if

they had the room. Realistically they are effective from 30hz up a tad over 1k.

Uh...I don't think you meant 1kHz, because I guarantee you that driver isn't even flat to 100Hz, let alone 1kHz...

Coarse not.. i said 1k not 1khz. Those drivers are designed under 100hz altogether... i was saying 1krms.

Basically if you wanna play 30hz tones yo'd have to stay right at or above the rms, but besides that most music in the mid 30's at the lowest and mechanically it'll be fine. A 1.5k-2krms amp shouldnt be a prob. i know people have been running them with Orion 2500d's without a prob.

the napalm is definately not an sq sub.... we did some subject listening tests on some sq testing material

in grandmas hands the response was muddy and overpowering, but the sub is not designed to be an sq contender its designed to get loud off moderate power while sounding decent....

if your listening criteria includes spanish harlem and grandmas hands avoid a Napalm, but if u listen to rock, rap, and country the sub sounds great...
