Well gentleman, Some of the new MurderMat production has arrived, and enough to make a first install log.

The Idea behind our product was to get away from the tired look of regular sound vibration deadener out there.....and created an all new look. Something you don't even have to cover up, in order to look good in the car. Not only does it look awesome, it performs even better.Lots of firsts in this industry, and to our knowledge, the first to begin to develop a Non-matte black version of deadener, and a first with logo design also. Completely original design. The Mat uses an Ambigram design, so besides the MurderMat name itself, it doesn't have an "upside down".

We used Both versions of our product in a very simple yet EFFECTIVE install. On a Dodge 2500 Cummins Ext. cab back wall. Needless to say after the owner rode around for a day with no back seat. He is now wanting to do the WHOLE truck seeing the 4 sheets made such a huge difference on just the back wall, seat still out. ALL drone caused by the exhuast is not gone, but All the extra drone and noise that was caused by taking the backseat out, was completely taken away with the mat applied.

The top layer is our 87 Mil(2.2mm) BL series, which is spec'ed at 7 Mil high quality aluminum, and 80 mils of Pure butyl compound.

Bottom layer is the 90 Mil(2.3mm) MDK series, spec'ed at 10 mil of aluminum, and 80 mils of Pure butyl. Thick enough that while installing, it barely wrinkles, and goes on smooth as glass. On top of that, both types have some of the strongest adhesive in the industry, over 43 lb/sq adhesive strength....

No part of the car should have any problems keeping stuck after the first time, even in extreme southern state heat. Roller isn't even nessesary, But of course can be recommended for full adhesion.

More Mils For Less Bills.

Calling bs on the exhaust drone being "completely gone." It is vibration dampener maybe in fairy tale land it would get rid of the exhaust drone completely from the unicorns.

Alright. In the older dodges, most of the exhaust vibration drone in the cummins diesels comes from the back wall vibrating, resonating from the exhaust. Almost ALL drone of an exhaust system, is caused by the interior metal panels of a cabin resonating with the frequency of the exhaust. On those dodges, It is a large enough piece of thin sheet metal over 60" wide, and 30" tall, that is actually amplifies the drone inside the cab. It is a 4" straight pipe exhaust, and so yes, with the Deadener, it completely took the vibration of the panel to almost none. End of the day, of course, it is only a vibration dampening mat. But that is exactly what this install called for.

Yeah...I got a 3rd gen, with a flo pro exhaust on my diesel. Even with 4 mm RHS deadener, CCF, and 2 layers of 1 lb/sq ft MLV, I still have drone. So there is not a chance in hell you got rid of it all.....lol. Got rid of the vibration....yes.

I'm sorry, completely reread that and my first meaning wasn't was I was trying to Imply.

Sorry for the that confusion.

We have a bunch of diesels around here, including myself also with straight exhausts, and stacks... and one of the largest differences quieting down the inside has obviously been deadening the back wall. These 4 sheets made a huge difference from just his bare back wall.
