MTX Thunder Dome Coaxes - reviews?

Sheesh, the trouble I go through sometimes.

Backstory: Electrical problems forced me to remove my whole stereo and revert to stock. I lost the stock front speakers. I bought replacements as a pair of JBL GTC5210 for $20 on ebay only to find out they are too small (they are 5.25", my car mounts are for 6.0"). I just bought MTX TDX6502 (Thunder Dome 6.5") for $20 on ebay with the plan on making custom oversized mounts.

A search, both on this forum and google have provided me with nothing but specs for the speakers. Curiosity has the better of me. Has anyone bought / listened to these in the past?
