Sold MTX Thunder 8500 12 inch sub

Hey guys, im selling my MTX T8512-04 subwoofer. This is the more expensive or harder to find SVC woofer. Most of the ones out now are the DVC sub. You can run this at 4 ohms or 2 woofers like this at 2 ohms. It was seeing its recommended wattage. Just time to change up the system a little. It was loud in my car and I loved the sound. Def. better than MTX's older line. This sub is massive. Here are the specs

T8512-04 12" Sub 4 Ω 36-150Hz 500 89.8 dB 3” voice coil 160 oz. magnet 7.767 inches mounting depth

It comes with a box, no amp. If you want to pay the extra shipping for the box, it would cost a good penny. I sold my Solobaric 12 setup with a 3.25 cube box and it ended up to be around $70 to ship it. Its not that dandy of a box, but it would get you by for a while

As for it being a DVC. Nah I didnt want to get a DVC because I was planning on getting two of the 4 ohm SVC's and running them at 2 ohm. Im not a big fan of running a 1 ohm load, even though my amp is stable down to 1 ohm. If you wanted to run a 2 ohm load, then you can find another 8512
