I have an MTX Thunder 1501D that I would like to sell.I had it running a 4 ohm load in my car and it worked great playing music.It plays loud and clean.I had sold this amp previously but when I tested it on the bench with no load attached it would trip the protection circuitry at high output when a sine wave was ran through it.At that time I elected not to sell it.I'm not sure if my power supply just didn't have enough juice for it or what but it just didn't really seem to like playing sine waves.I never had an issue playing it with regular music.I was possibly overdriving it with the sine wave.Anyways I'm selling it again.This amp is in nice physical shapes as you can see in the pics below. Not sure what the repair cost would be or if it even actually needs repair but being that I am unable to properly diagnose the issue I am selling this amp AS IS.It powers up and does play cleanly.I never had any issues in car,only on the test bench with my weak power supply while playing sine waves with no load.Not sure if it having no load was an issue or not.I am asking $110 shipped in the US for this amp.
