MTX TERMINATOR MTA225 High Current ow Impedance Amplifier
i am thinning out my collection of old school amps....dont miss the chance to own a super rare amp in good condition.
the amp works 100%. never been repaired. it even comes with a very rare, Red speaker plug, with ample speaker wire. the power and ground are around a foot long...
it was made in the usa by precision power (ppi) for mtx. the board is very simular to the ppi ProMos50 ... either way, its a power house that is able to to drive speaker loads as low as .5ohm per channel. at 14 volts or higher, it will put out around 15% more power ..
the amp looks very good for its age... it has a few scratches and scuffs .it has a quarter size spot on the bottom of the amp where the paint is missing, but the name plate still shines......
i can get gut pics if needed. but for reference, the board can be found on ampguts.com
specs:
Output Power at 12.5V:
2 x 25W @ 4 ohms (0.02% THD)
2 x 50W @ 2 ohms
2 x 100W @ 1 ohm
2 x 200W @ ½ ohm
1 x 100W @ 4 ohms bridged
