MTX Blue Thunder

I wouldn't call those an upgrade at all. They definitely are not an SQ driver at all and sound pretty terrible in about any enclosure. I have owned these in the past and still play around with one in my garage.

If you are really looking for an upgrade from the D3s, either port them, or you will have to spend a good amount more money.

they must have been entry level jbls then.. ive got some blue thunder extreme 10s right now i got from ridinhi... i havent tested them yet, but they are beefy heavy little subs..

and they really move too,lol...had them in my Suburban. You could tell that they were beating like crazy when sitting in the back but didnt have the potential to move alot of air. Now if they were in the trunk/hatch of a honda or something like that, would have been another story. But definitely some nice *** subs!!
