The funny thing is that I was absolutely an MTX hater until I heard a ground pounder vehicle with 2 9500's on about 1000 watts each in some large boxes. I decided to give it a try, and I'm now happy I did.
Heh, I'm old school, so it was hard to get me to come over, I remembered MTX's reputation from the early 90's, in which I pretty much compared them to Pyramid. I still don't think I'd buy any of their lower class subwoofers though.nice to see you came to the good side lol

I've heard many say the 9500 is much better as a SQ sub than ANY kicker sub. But to me it all depends on the manner in which its being used.IMHO, and from the systems I've heard the L7 sounds better, but the 9500 beats it in pure volume.
And on the same token there have been cases where L7s have done very well in SQ. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifvery true install dependant is a big thing. still like the 9500's over the kickers big time i used to have two 12" l7's loud but not the best
